[Cindy Sheehan is an American anti-Iraq War activist who attracted international attention in August 2005 for her extended demonstration at a peace camp outside President George W. Bush's Crawford, Texas ranch. Her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, a genuine American hero, was killed in Iraq on 4 April 2004. She is sometimes referred to by the media as the "Peace Mom." We here at cobra74 Creations like to call her, "Mother Wacko".] (cobra74: Thank you Mother Wacko for doing this exclusive interview. First question: Where should those Americans who are "sitting on the fence" about the war fall?) Mother Wacko: "If you fall on the side that is pro-George and pro-war, you get your a** over to Iraq, and take the place of somebody who wants to come home. And if you fall on the side that is against this war and against George Bush, stand up and speak out."
(cobra74: I would if they would take an old man and an old woman, I'd gladly take you to Iraq. In a heartbeat...) Mother Wacko: "I don't care if a human being is black, brown, white, yellow or pink. I don't care if a human being is Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, or pagan."
(cobra74: But they better not be a Republican President, huh?) Mother Wacko: "George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self from power."
(cobra74: Occupied New Orleans? I thought you lefty's had a problem with the amount of time it took for help to arrive?) Mother Wacko: "However, I have one question for Congress and for George Bush, though: Why does Terry Schiavo deserve to live more than my son, Spc. Casey Austin Sheehan? "
(cobra74: Duh! Because Ms. Schiavo had NO choice, just like those little babies you lefty's want aborted by the thousands. Spc. Sheehan went to Iraq freely to do his job.) Mother Wacko: "Casey told me, "Mom, this is what we trained for. I'm ready. It's my job. Because the sooner I get there, the sooner I'll come home." And he came home three weeks later in a flag-draped coffin."
(cobra74: At least he came home. Some heroes never will and their family will never have closure. See Harry T. Wilson. Both of them are heroes in my book.)
(cobra74: How do you feel about Casey's actions in Iraq, Mother Wacko?) Mother Wacko: "...we have decimated the country, the borders are open, freedom fighters from other countries are going in, and they [American troops] have created more terrorism by going to an Islamic country, devastating the country and killing innocent people in that country."
(cobra74: I'm confused, Mother Wacko. Are you saying your son was involved in killing innocent people and "freedom fighters" in Iraq?) Mother Wacko: "If I was thinking straight, which I wasn't, I never would have allowed a military funeral, and I wouldn't have buried him in his uniform..." [What Casey did was to reject not by words but by deeds his mother’s most closely-held beliefs. Then, to make matter worse in her eyes, this son volunteers to go on a dangerous mission even his superiors warned him against, and dies as a result. He went, and it cost him his life. You can almost hear her saying to his spirit, “How dare you spurn me and turn your back on me? How dare you go join the military, and then how dare you volunteer to fight against the innocent Iraqi freedom fighters and get yourself killed?”]
(cobra74: Mother Wacko, what do you think Senator Clinton thinks about the war?)
Mother Wacko: "She knows that the war is a lie but she is waiting for the right time to say it. You [either] say it, or you are losing your job."
(cobra74: What would you like to say to President Bush if you could meet with him again, Mother Wacko?) Mother Wacko: "George, in 2000 when you stole that election and the Democrats gave up, I gave up, too. I had the most ironic thought of my life then: "Oh well, how much damage can he do in four years?"
(cobra74: Mother Wacko, it sounds like you had an axe to grind with President Bush BEFORE your son died in Iraq. Would that be a fair statement?) Mother Wacko: "President Bush is a maniac and a lying bastard."
(cobra74: Okay...Mother Wacko, how do you feel about this e-mail sent to cobra74 Creations from your family?) "The
Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been
silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political
motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be
promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the expense of her
son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports
the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and
respect. Mother Wacko: "I have lost almost every friend that I had before Casey died."
(cobra74: Mother Wacko, how are you helping your other children deal with Casey's loss. Since family seems to be very important to you, maybe you could help the other parents that have lost children in this war?) Mother Wacko: "Unfortunately, I am not able to help them that much because of my pain, and because I feel so compelled to fight the injustice and bring the troops home. I know they believe that what I am doing is right, but they wish we weren't in the situation, as do I."
(cobra74: Mother Wacko, what about your husband? Is he supporting you in this effort to bring down President Bush?) Mother Wacko: "My husband and I are separated, because he doesn't support my activities...."
(cobra74: Sorry to hear that. One last question and I'll let you get back to your protesting. Do you love your country?) Mother Wacko: "America has been killing people...since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bulls**t to my son and my son enlisted. I’m going all over the country telling moms, “This country is not worth dying for." 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con (read Israeli) agenda through and, if I would have known that before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada. I would never have let him go and try and defend this morally repugnant system we have...the system is morally repugnant."
(cobra74: Thank you for your time, Mother Wacko. I hope this interview clears up any misconceptions about your agenda.) Mother Wacko: "I really want to thank you guys for doing this..."
(cobra74: Believe me, it's our pleasure to get the word out about you, Mother Wacko.) [All of the quotes and facts above were taken from real interviews with Cindy Sheehan. They are her words. Ms. Sheehan has said enough "wacko" on her own that it is not necessary for anyone to make anything up.] Here's what we really think of Mother Wacko here at cobra74 Creations...click here
