piloting went down during a combat mission in Iraq. The incident

Infantry Division, Amarillo, Texas; died Oct. 19 in Baghdad of
injuries sustained Oct. 18 when multiple improvised explosive
devices detonated near his Humvee during convoy operations in
Iskandariyah, Iraq. |

Apache helicopter crashed in Balad, Iraq. Also killed was Chief
Warrant Officer John R. Priestner. |
