West Rips Bush at Telethon 
Yeah,
it's white versus black time again....and I quote:
Mr.
West: "I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a
black family, it says they're looting. See a white family, it says
they're looking for food. And it's been 5 days because most of the
people are black."
Mr.
West: "George Bush doesn't care about black people"
Mr.
West: America is set up "to help the poor, the black people, the
less well-off as slow as possible."
Mr.
West: "They've given them permission to go down and shoot
us."
Mr.
West is a "rapper." One of the most popular and prolific. He
was appearing on a telethon for Hurricane Katrina's victims. He and
Michael Myers were pitching for donations to the American Red Cross
live when Mr. West went off script to do a little Bush, and honky,
bashing.
Long
sigh...look Mr. West, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that the black man has been
and is so mistreated in this country. But maybe you might think about
this.
YOU
ARE LIVING OFF THE MISERY OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE!!!! Your songs encourage
young black men to carry guns, abandon their families, get
"rich" by selling, and doing, drugs. To perpetuate the very
lifestyle that you are trying to get out of. Honky Rock stars aren't
putting a good message out either, but they ain't, for the most part,
killing each other, just themselves. "Rappers" are killing
each other by the dozens. There's a great example to show your
youngsters.
Mr.
West, what happened at the Rodney King riots? Those blacks were not
looting? Those blacks were not destroying black owned stores? They
were not burning their own neighborhoods? Yes, before all you bleeding
heart liberals e-mail me, I know there were other races involved in
the looting and burning, but even the black leaders of Los Angeles
were shocked at the reaction of their own people.
Mr.
West, people like you anger me. Not blacks like you but ALL people
like you, regardless of race. The KKK angers me. Terrorists anger me.
Rednecks anger me. People who want to put their hate before this
country. And it's hate, plain and simple.
Mr.
West, one last comment and I'll let you go so you can spread more
hate. Grow up. Stand up. Suck it up. And shut up.
