You know, I've really tried to leave this woman alone. Really tried hard. After all, her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, stationed at Fort Hood before deployment, paid the ultimate price in Iraq on April 4th, 2004. Doing his job, I might add. You see, in war, people die. Soldiers and civilians alike. It's just a sad fact of war. So I really tried to allow that his mother would grieve. My mother would have, had I died in battle. But Mother Sheehan seems to have passed the stage of grief and entered into the loony tune world. Her "camp out" at Crawford, Texas generated a lot of publicity for her "cause." But, even then, I wondered what her "cause" really was. Was she protesting the war as a grieving mother or as an anti-Bush protestor? Maybe both? Mother Sheehan seem to imply, along with many other "war protestors," that President Bush WANTED to go to war. The old "Bush is getting even for his dad's war in 1991" stuff. To me that indicates talking points, not thoughtful points. "I know you are, but what am I?" Well, Mother Sheehan joined a little rally on Saturday (25 September 2005) in Washington DC. She joined A.N.S.W.E.R., the FAR, FAR leftist group (Act Now To Stop War & End Racism). Now these lefty's have protested everything from abortion to the war. The speakers at this rally were a Who's Who list of liberals, Communists, Socialists, and various fringe groups. If you don't know who these people are, maybe you should do some homework. While some of them are just...loony, some of them don't have our country's interests at heart. They are actively fostering sedition against ANY government, not just the present Administration. Here is a partial list:
When you do your homework, you'll find that Malik Rahim is a "former" Black Panther and current racist Moslem. While Mother Sheehan has aligned with Rahim, unless she converts to Islam and shuts up, Rahim would just as well see her join the "martyred." Hadi Jawad is an avowed Jew hater, who wants Israel destroyed. I know why Mr. Jawad likes Mother Sheehan, since she is on record as saying, "Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel." A federal jury found Lynne Stewart guilty on five counts of defrauding the government, conspiracy, and providing support for terrorism–namely by aiding “the Blind Sheik,” Omar Abdel Rahman. Lest we forget, Sheik Omar was involved in the first World Trade Center bombing, in 1993. In October of 1995, he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. But, then again, I can see why Ms. Stewart and Mother Sheehan want the same outcome for this country. "Every person who has been killed since the sham [2004] elections–that is innocent blood on the hands of Congress. They need to pull back the financing, they need to take away the authority from the maniacs who rule our country. The Neo-Con maniacs who rule our country need to have the authority taken away from them." says Mother Sheehan. Mother Sheehan also said, "When they came and told me that my wonderful gentle sweet son was killed, I collapsed on the floor and I screamed. I’m sure I did permanent damage to either my brain or my heart." My opinion would be that it was her brain, judging from the "wonderful" people she is doing business with. Mother Sheehan evidently knows "Million Man March" math also. She said she was glad to see "100's of thousands" at the rally. Pictures and estimates indicate there were about 80,000 there, not 100,000 plus. Maybe banging her brain blurred her vision and made it LOOK like 100,000 or more. While I mourn every person who has lost their life in this war, I still stand by the belief that this is the greatest country and the best system history has ever seen. While I stand by her right to protest, don’t kid yourself, Cindy Sheehan hates the United States and loves terrorists. Don’t just take my word for it. Here's a quote by Mother Sheehan from a rally for Lynne Stewart on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at San Francisco State University. "I take responsibility partly for my son’s death, too. I was raised in a country by a public school system that taught us that America was good, that America was just. America has been killing people, like my sister over here says, since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bulls**t to my son and my son enlisted. I’m going all over the country telling moms: “This country is not worth dying for..."
Thanks for spending part of your day reading about mine.
