      ...cobra74 enters the DSL age!

     Well, after 20 years or so, I finally broke down and joined the hyper-speed days. Thanks to SBC, I'm now surfing in DSL mode, instead of dial up. Man, is this not great!

     I'm so happy that I'm not even going to post anything political in my blog this time. And, then again....

     How long will it be, as Hurricane Rita approaches landfall, before THIS hurricane and it's consequences are blamed on President Bush? How long before we hear how the traffic jam out of Houston was because President Bush left the state in disarray? How long before we hear that motorists running out of gas is a plot by "Skull and Bones" members to sell them inflated gas?

     Actually I saw a funny couple of pictures yesterday. The first picture was of the highways jammed going north out of Houston and it was titled, "Texas Evacuation." Then underneath it was a picture of 100's of buses parked in a flooded lot unused. It was titled, "New Orleans Evacuation."

     While the pictures were funny, they are also telling. Republican Governor and the people are advised and evacuated. Democratic Governor and President Bush is blamed that people can't get on those flooded buses....

     Just a thought....from the right.
