EXPERIENCE THE 'NET!

WHY?

I'm going to do something here that many of my loyal, and vocal readers, would think I would never do. I'm going to bash President Bush a little. So sue me...

I'm tired of President Bush trying to stand above the left leaning biased fray and all the lefty attacks and be the "nice guy." I'm tired of this Administration just "sitting back" and letting the lies and accusations pour in unchallenged. I'm tired of this Administration apologizing for everything from "global warming" to putting out the "Plame."

I have my own thoughts of why it's being done this way and this will really tick off some of you libs. It's C-O-N-V-I-C-T-I-O-N. No, not the kind of convictions that ABC, CBS, NBC, and the Clinton News Network want but the conviction of his values.

President Bush knows that what he is doing is right. And he is really, in his heart of hearts, doing what he thinks is best for this country. You, as the slogan goes, can take that to the bank. I saw it here in Texas when he was Governor. Governor Bush's decisions were not always well received but, most in the end, were good for Texas. And, regardless of the slings and arrows, he stood firmly behind his policies. And, now as President of the United States, dealing with the war in Iraq, the war of Terror, mounting calls for impeachment, continually doing the things that are unpopular but necessary in our post-9/11 world, he is firmly standing behind his decisions again.

But, gosh darn it, I sure wish he'd lower himself once in a while and toss some mud back. Then again, by doing that, he loses those convictions.

President Bush, through AG Gonzales, fires 8 District Attorneys and the wacko libs want to hang him. Janet Reno, President "Bill" Clinton's AG, fired all 93 DA's in the beginning of his Administration and that's okay. For those of you on the left coast, that is 85 MORE DA's. No problemo, if your name is Clinton.

President Clinton lies to a Grand Jury and loses his lawyer license. President Bush "lies" about WMD's in Iraq, along with Russia, France, Great Britain, Germany, and even 99% of the libs in Congress, and some are screaming for a lynching. No problemo, if your name is Clinton.

Scooter Libby gets convicted for a memory loss and Mrs. President want to be Clinton states she can't remember over 250 times. President Clinton, in his disposition in the Paula Jones case, had his memory fail him 267 times. No problemo, if your name is Clinton.

President Bush, I beg you, fight back. Your poll numbers are starting to rise. And there are still some loyal Republicans, like me, that will stand behind you no matter what. Fight, no matter what, for what is right and for our country. Even as the left and the right snipe at you, we will help you work to make this great country even better.

It's a matter of conviction. And values.
