DON'T WANT TO'S

Don't want to...

Have you ever woke up in the morning and just don't want to? Don't want to get up. Don't want to wake up. Don't want to go to work. Don't want to breathe.

I saw, a few weeks ago (or maybe a few days ago, time runs together anymore) that most of the charges against some of the Haditha Marines ( see here and here ) had been dropped and thought I should blog on that little bit of info the media ain't reporting very much. Don't want to.

I had to make some return calls to potential sponsors for this website. Don't want to. Email to answer. Don't want to. Update the site. Don't want to ( but I'm doing it... )

I'm reading a great book right now in my few minutes of free time, Sgt. Maj. Bradley Kasal's "My Men are My Heroes." Great book by a real American hero. ( see here ) But really don't want to.

I went out and bought the movie, "300" and need to watch it. Don't want to.

I need to get a physical. REALLY don't want to. My blood pressure is staying good and other than a summer cold, I feel good. But....don't want to.

Mow the grass? Don't want to. Change the oil? Don't want to. Take a shower? Don't want to. ( Mrs. cobra wants me to, though. )

I need a vacation. A real vacation, not just a few days. Want to but have no time to.

I need to finish that tape of "Rifleman" episodes. Don't want to. Need to clean and straighten the "Batcave" ( that would be the computer room / cobra hideaway ) Don't want to. Need to sand and paint the house window frames. Yep, you guessed it. Don't want to.

Depression might be a factor in my "don't want to's." I haven't been sleeping well. Or eating right. And I'm getting to the age that I don't recover well from being tired. To be honest, I don't even want to sleep.

Of course, like everything else, it'll pass. I'll wake up one day and kick butt. Get things done. Recharge the old batteries.

But until then. I'll just whine.
